Giurdignano, Puglia, is a small village that host the tradition of the "Tavole di San Giuseppe" (St. Joseph’s tables). Many of the families in the town open the doors of their houses to welcome visitors, displaying in their living rooms tables set for a whole series of food and drinks, offered in honor of St. Joseph.

The families that do it, carrying on the tradition for over 50 years, have at home a devotee who has requested or received a grace from the Saint. Compared to the national climate of fear and collective psychosis, it is very interesting to see hundreds of people inviting complete strangers into their homes, proud to share this gesture with a community.
