Urban space has become a threatening place, full of dangers that frighten precisely because they are invisible. The impact of social distancing does not only have to do with physical proximity and our sense of distrust, but also has important repercussions on how we experience the urban spaces and more generally the public space. How to Social Distance is a project that investigates public space in the city of Florence. It started during the first days of the lockdown and subsequently followed the gradual relaxation of security measures.
