During the outbreak of Covid 19 Simone documented his home city of Florence focusing on simple images of closed storefronts. The series was featured on the cover of Italian weekly magazine, L’Espresso. One year after Simone returned to photograph the shops in the historic center of Florence that he had found closed due to lockdown.
